Draw Circles at Selected Point With Specific Radius
Drawing circles
The default method for drawing a circle is to specify a center point and radius. You tin draw circles using any of the following methods:
• Center-Radius (
)
• Heart-Bore (
)
• ii-Points (
)
• iii-Points (
)
• Radius-Tangents (
)
• Tan-Tan-Tan
• Convert Arc to Circle (
)
To draw a circle past specifying its center and radius
one Do ane of the following to cull Circle Eye-Radius (
):
• On the ribbon, choose Home > Circumvolve Center-Radius or choose Draw > Circle Center-Radius.
• On the menu, choose Draw > Circumvolve > Circumvolve Middle-Radius.
• On the Describe toolbar, click the Circle Center-Radius tool.
• Type circumvolve and then press Enter.
2 Specify the center signal.
3 Specify the radius of the circle.

To draw a circle by specifying its centre and diameter
1 Do 1 of the following to cull Circle Eye-Diameter (
):
• On the ribbon, cull Home > Circumvolve Center-Diameter or choose Draw > Circumvolve Centre-Diameter. Skip footstep 3.
• On the menu, choose Depict > Circle > Circumvolve Center-Diameter. Skip step iii.
• On the Draw toolbar, click the Circle tool.
• Type circle and and then press Enter.
ii Specify the middle bespeak.
3 In the prompt box choose Diameter.

To depict a circumvolve by specifying 2 endpoints of the diameter
1 Do one of the post-obit to choose Circle ii-Points (

• On the ribbon, choose Home > Circle 2-Points or choose Draw > Circumvolve 2-Points. Get to stride 3.
• On the carte, choose Draw > Circle > Circumvolve 2-Points. Become to pace iii.
• On the Draw toolbar, click the Circle tool.
• Type circle and then press Enter.

To draw a circumvolve by specifying three points on the circumference
1 Practice 1 of the following to cull Circle three-Points (
):
• On the ribbon, cull Dwelling house > Circle 3-Points or choose Draw > Circle iii-Points. Become to step 3.
• On the carte du jour, choose Draw > Circle > Circle 3-Points. Go to step 3.
• On the Draw toolbar, click the Circle tool.
• Type circle so press Enter.

• On the ribbon, choose Home > Circle Radius-Tangents or cull Draw > Circle Radius-Tangents. Go to pace 3.
• On the menu, choose Draw > Circle > Circle Radius-Tangents. Get to step 3.
• On the Draw toolbar, click the Circumvolve tool.
• Type circumvolve and then press Enter.
ii In the prompt box, cull Tangent-Tangent-Radius.
3 Select the first entity that you desire the circle to affect
4 Select the 2nd entity that you want the circle to bear on.
5 Specify the radius of the circle.

To draw a circle tangent to three entities
i Do one of the following to cull Tan-Tan-Tan (
):
• On the ribbon, choose Home > Circumvolve Tan-Tan-Tan or choose Draw > Circumvolve Tan-Tan-Tan. Go to step 3.
• On the card, cull Draw > Circle > Tan-Tan-Tan. Go to stride three.
• On the Draw toolbar, click the Circle tool.
• Type circumvolve and then press Enter.
two In the prompt box, cull Tangent-Tangent-Tangent.
iii Select the kickoff entity that y'all want the circle to touch
iv Select the second entity that you want the circle to touch.
5 Select the third entity you desire the circle to touch.

To convert an arc to a circle
one Do one of the following to choose Convert Arc to Circumvolve (
):
• On the ribbon, choose Habitation > Convert Arc to Circle or choose Describe > Catechumen Arc to Circle.
• On the carte du jour, choose Draw > Circle > Convert Arc to Circle.
• On the Draw toolbar, click the Catechumen Arc to Circle tool.
Go to step iii.
• Type circle then press Enter.
ii In the prompt box, choose Plow Arc Into Circle.
3 Select the arc yous want to convert to a circle.
